We Take Privacy Seriously

The protection of your privacy with regard to the processing of personal data is an important concern for us. When you visit our website our web servers routinely store the IP of your Internet service provider, the website you visit us from, the websites you visit with us and the date and duration of your visit. This information is absolutely necessary for the technical transfer of the websites and a perssecure server operation. A personalized evaluation of these data is not performed.

If you send us data via contact form they will be saved on our servers in the course of the data backup. We use your data exclusively to process your request. Your data are treated with strict confidentiality. They are not transferred to third parties.

Personal Data

Personal data are data about your person. These include your name, your address and your e-mail address. You need not reveal any personal data to be able to visit our website. In some cases we require your name, address and further information to be able to offer you the service desired.

The same applies in case we provide you with information material on request resp. when answering your requests. In these cases, we will always point this out to you. Furthermore, we only save the data that you have transferred to us automatically or voluntarily.

If you use one of our services we usually only collect the data required to be able to offer you our service. We may ask you for further information, but on a voluntary basis. Whenever we process personal data we do this to be able to offer you our service or to pursue commercial purposes.

Automatically Saved Data

Server Log Files

The provider of the sites automatically collects and saves information in so-called server log files that your browser automatically transfers to us. These are:

  • Date and time of the request
  • Name of the file requested
  • Site from which the file was requested
  • Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
  • Web browser and operating system used
  • Complete IP address of requesting computer
  • Data volume transmitted

These data are not merged with other data sources. The processing is performed acc. art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our justified interest in the stability and functionality of our website.
For reasons of technical security, in particular to block attempted attacks on our web servers, we save these data for a short period of time. It is not possible to conclude to individual persons from these data. After seven days at the latest, the data are anonymized by shortening the IP address on domain level so that it is no longer possible to establish a relation to the individual user. Furthermore, the data are processed for statistical purposes in anonymous form; there will be no alignment with other data sets and no full or partial transfer to third parties. The number of site visits is only stated within the framework of our server statistics that we publish every two years in our activity report.

Cookies

When you visit our Internet sites we may save information on your computer in the form of cookies. Many cookies contain a so-called cookie-ID. A cookie-ID is a unique identification of the cookie. It consists of a string by which Internet sites and servers can be allocated to the concrete Internet browser in which the cookie was saved. This allows the Internet sites and servers visited to distinguish the individual browser of the respective person from other Internet browsers that contain other cookies. A certain Internet browser can be recognized and identified by the unique cookie-ID.

By using session cookies the person responsible can provide the users of this Internet site with a user-friendly service that would not be possible without setting cookies. Without consent we only use technically necessary cookies on the legal basis of justified interest acc. art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
We only use personal cookies to improve our website or for marketing/advertising purposes with your consent. On your first visit you can voluntarily agree to the tracking resp. analysis via the shown cookie banner. Your data may possibly be transferred to partners resp. third-party providers. These cookies are only saved if you explicitly agree; in this case, the legal foundation is your consent acc. art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
You can change your settings concerning the use of cookies at any time here:

Use of Google Services

We use the technologies of Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland („Google“) as subsequently presented: The information automatically collected by Google technologies about your use of our website is usually transferred to a server of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA and saved there. There is no adequacy decision of the European Commission for the USA. Our cooperation is based on standard privacy clauses of the European Commission.

If your IP address is collected by Google technologies it will be shortened by activating the IP anonymization before saving it on Google servers. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address is transferred to a Google server and shortened there. Insofar as no deviations are stated with the individual technologies the data processing is made on the basis of an agreement between jointly responsible parties acc. art. 26 GDPR. Further information on the data processing by Google can be found in Google’s data protection notices https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

Google Tag Manager

This website uses Google Tag Manager. The tag manager does not collect any personal data. The tool triggers other tags that might gather data on their part. Google Tag Manager does not access these data. If a deactivation on domain or cookie level was performed it continues to exist for all tracking tags that were implemented with Google Tag Manager. Please find the data protection notices of Google concerning this tool here: https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/tag-manager/

Google Analytics

For the purpose of website analysis Google Analytics automatically collects and saves data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, information on the use of our website) from which usage profiles can be generated using pseudonyms. Cookies can be used for this purpose. On principle, your IP address will not be brought together with other data from Google.

For the purpose of the optimized marketing of our website we have activated the data release settings for “Google products and services”. In this way, Google can access the data collected and processed by Google Analytics and subsequently use them to improve the Google services. The data release to Google within the framework of these data release settings is made on the basis of an additional agreement between responsible parties. We have no influence on the subsequent data processing by Google.

To create and perform tests we also use Google Optimize, the extension function of Google Analytics.

For purposes of web analysis, a so-called “cross device tracking” is enabled by Google Signals, an extension function of Google Analytics. Insofar as your web-enabled devices are connected to your Google account and you have activated the setting “personalized advertisement” on your Google account, Google can create reports about your user behavior (in particular the cross-device user numbers) even if you change your end device. A processing of personal data is not performed by us insofar as we only receive statistics created on the basis of Google Signals.

For purposes of web analysis and advertisement the recognition of your browser when visiting other websites is enabled by the so-called “double-click cookie”, the extension function of Google Analytics. Google will use this information to compile reports about the website activities and to render further services in connection with website use.

Google Doubleclick

Doubleclick by Google uses cookies to present you relevant advertisements. In doing so your browser is allocated a pseudonymous identification number (ID) to check which ads were shown in your browser and which ads were called up. The cookies do not contain any personal information. Using the double-click cookies just allows Google and its partner websites the placement of ads on the basis of previous visits to our or other websites on the Internet. The information generated by the cookies is transferred to a Google server in the USA to be evaluated and saved there.

Google Maps

To achieve the visual representation of geographic information data concerning your usage of the Maps functions, in particular the IP address and location data, are collected by Google Maps, transferred to Google and subsequently processed by Google. We have no influence on this subsequent data processing.

Analysis by WiredMinds

Our website uses the tracking pixels technology of the WiredMinds GmbH (www.wiredminds.de) to analyze the visitor behavior. For this purpose the IP address of a visitor is processed. The processing is exclusively performed for the purpose of collecting company-relevant information such as the company name. IP addresses of natural persons are excluded from further usage (whitelist procedure). The IP addresses are not saved in LeadLab under any circumstances. When processing the data we are particularly interested in safeguarding the privacy rights of natural persons. Our interest is based on art. 6 para 1 lit. f GDPR. The data collected by us do not allow any inference to an identifiable person.

The WiredMinds GmbH uses this information to create anonymous usage profiles with respect to the visitor behavior of our website. The data gained thereby are not used to personally identify the user of our website.

Exclude from tracking

Social Plugins

Social buttons of social networks are used on our website. These are only integrated into the site as HTML links so that no connection to the servers of the respective provider is established when our website is called up. If you click on one of the buttons the website of the respective social network opens in a new window of your browser. There, you can activate e.g. the “like” or “share” button.

Online Presence on LinkedIn, Xing, YouTube

Insofar as you have given your permission acc. art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR to the respective social media provider your data from which usage profiles can be created using pseudonyms are automatically collected and saved in the social media listed above for market research and advertising purposes when using our online presences. These can be used, for example, to place advertisements within and outside the platforms that presumably match your interests. Cookies are usually used for this purpose.  Please see the privacy statements of the providers linked below for detailed information on the processing and use of your data by the respective social media provider, a contact opportunity and your respective rights and setting options to protect your privacy. You can contact us if you still need support in this respect.

Newsletter

To send the newsletter we use the so-called double-opt-in procedure, i.e. we will only send you a newsletter by e-mail after you have explicitly confirmed that we are supposed to activate the newsletter service. We will then send you a notification mail and ask you to confirm by clicking on the link included in this e-mail that you wish to receive our newsletter. When you register for our newsletter we save your IP address and date of registration. This saving exclusively serves to prove evidence in case a third party misuses your e-mail address to register you for the newsletter reception without your knowledge or authorization. In case you do not wish to receive our newsletters any longer at a later stage you can revoke this at any time without any transfer costs arising other than according to the basic tariffs

Security

We have taken technical and administrative precautions to protect your personal data against loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorized access. All our employees as well as service providers on our behalf are obligated to comply with the applicable privacy laws.

Whenever we collect and process personal data they are encrypted before we send them. This means that your data cannot be misused by third parties. Our security precautions are subject to a continuous improvement process, and our privacy statements are continuously being revised. Please make sure that you always have the current version available.

  • the processing is made with the help of automated procedures.

If technically feasible you can demand from us a direct transfer of your data to another party responsible.

Right to Objection:

If we process your data with a legitimate interest you can object to this data processing at any time; this would also apply to profiling based on these regulations.
